In late 2019, corporate executives at Nickelodeon quietly let go one of their most successful and influential producers at the time, Dan Schneider. Known for his work on shows such as Drake & Josh, iCarly, and Victorious, Schneider abused his platform as a titan of kids entertainment to normalize his own perversions to an entire generation of children.

This piece, Soggy John’s first performance installation, represents the underlying impacts that people such as Dan Schneider can have on the psyche of our youth, as well as the glorification and manipulation of children as a whole.
